- 4/04 found tumors in right breast had mastectomy & 8 months chemo. 5 months after chemo I got implant in my breast. In 4/07 found a lump on the right outer chest wall. It was a malignant tumor had turned metastatic with her2 receptors. 8 weeks of radiation every day. Treatment with Herceptin for a year. 6/08 I had my inplant taken out, I was burned from the radiation. July it was not healing my oncologist sent me to the hospital, more surgery on the wound it had become infected. Then the wound vac that hooked up to the wound. Visits every week with a wound dr. til 12/08. Back in 10/08 I got really sick from the infection in my wound went to the hospital ICU with sepsis. 1/09 I was diagnosed with cancer in 5 different places in my bones. I started Aredia treatment every month until August. 2 tumors had doubled in size. They took my ovaries out the cancer is hormone induced. I had them out in October. As of 1/10 I have lymph nodes all thru my body, I now take taxotere, Herceptin & Zometa treatments once a week. I am BRCA2 positive!!
